I'm Bill Simmons, owner of Simmons Marine Service of Port Orchard, WA.

Simmons Marine Service is a locally owned company providing over 15 years of quality mobile marine repair of mechanical and electrical systems on recreational vessels, work boats, yachts and fishing vessels.

My family and I have lived in the Northwest for over 40 years. I began a mechanical apprenticeship in my youth in Galveston, Texas and attended Texas A&M University studying Mechanical Engineering. I hold a U.S. Merchant Marine Seaman Certificate and am a U.S. Army veteran.

After coming to Washington, I worked as engineer on the tugboat "Chief" with my relatives at Simmons Tugboat Co. in Seattle, making many runs to Alaska and up and down the West Coast. Later, I went to work at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton where I retired with 25 years of service working on all types of naval vessels. After retiring, I opened my doors to share my marine expertise with local boat owners who have vessels in need of repair.
